Brief Description: In this power point I will describe the Pros and Cons to having sports in school. With doing so, I will get
peoples opinions either positive or negative and their reason WHY sports are either good or bad for schools and students.

Rationale: To document my understanding of Standard #10 Leadership and Collaboration, I documented the pros and cons of
scholarly sports and how they effect students and the school financially and academically.

America lags behind more than twenty nations academically


Districts suspending sports could save $150,000 in one year

More extra time throughout the day to finish schoolwork

Cons of not having sports

Less social gatherings between students and staff


More drop-out rates in areas
More time discipline
Greater risk of obesity children
