Rock sea salt is made by drying

sea water.
Known as halite, it is a sodium

chloride mineral which

ROCK WET SALTS

undergo any drying process.

ROCK DRY SALTS

drying and sieving.

Their natural moisture content

is up to a maximum of 4%.

Their maximum moisture is of

0,3%.
Some of them go under a

centrifuge process and present


a maximum moisture of 2%.

There are different types of

rock sea salt depending on the


size of the grain.

ROCK WET SALTS


Rock wet salts are mainly used for

roads, to protect them from


freezing.
One of its main characteristics is its

ability for deicing and snow melting.


Commercialized rock wet salt can

be used directly in road salt


spreaders.

SEA SALT FOR FEEDING


Rock sea salt can be also used for feeding. It has higher qualities

than the others, nevertheless it is important to consume small


quantities of salt.
Sea salt has more minerals than table salt, but it is important to get
the most of the minerals we need from other food.
