It is the story of three female employees of a sexist,
egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot who find a way to
turn the tables on him. This
musical debuted on Broadway in 2008 using the original story with all new music written by Dolly Parton.
The Liberty Theatres production will be directed by
Devon Sons. The show has
a medium-sized cast with 4
main roles and many supporting members. We will
be holding auditions at the
Liberty Theatre December
17 and 18 from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m. Please come out and
audition. We need singers,
actors and chorus members
to put this production on.

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

(Public Notice of Filing)
The Tarkio R-1 School District encourages qualified
persons interested in running for a position on the School
Board to file to be a candidate in the April 7, 2014, election. Interested persons may file at the superintendents office located at 312 S. 11th St. Tarkio, MO 64491. For more
information contact Dr. Patrick Martin, Superintendent of
Schools, at 660-736-4161.
Filing will begin on December 16, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. and
will continue during the districts regular business hours,
which are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will
not occur on days that the school districts central offices
are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school
districts central offices are closed: December 22, 2014,
through January 2, 2015. Filing will end on January 20 at
5:00 p.m.
