Weight: Up to 24 lbs
Broad, smooth, spade shaped head
Greyish brown back, lighter underside

Sharpnose Shark

Length: 3
Weight: 15 lbs
Snout is long and flattened
Could have small white spots on sides
Long slender bodies
Olive grey coloring with a white underside.

Weight: 40-50 lbs
Black tips on the ends of most fins.
Moderately long, pointed snout

Spinner Shark

Weight: 120 lbs
Gray-bronze with white belly
Distinguished by dark tip on anal fin
Large and slender

Sandbar Shark

Length: 6-8
Weight: 100-200 lbs
Color can be bluish grey to bronze with and white belly
Moderately long, rounded snout

Nurse Shark

Description:

Length: 7-9
Weight: 160-230 lbs
Easily identified by whiskers coming from top lip
Adult nurse sharks color ranges from light yellowish tan to dark brown
Juveniles up to 2 ft. have black spots, with a lighter pigmentation
outlining their spots

Lemon Shark

Length: 8-10
Weight: 200 lbs
They will have a yellow color, and a white belly
Their teeth are curved rather than straight up and down.
They have a flattened head with a short broad snout

Bull Shark

Length: 7-11
Weight: 200-500 lbs
Unique, stout body appearance
Grey back, off-white underside

Tiger Shark

Length: 10-14
Weight: 900-1400 lbs
Easily recognize by its Tiger like striping

Length: 11- 20
Weight: 500 lbs
Fins are unmarked
Back of the head or Hammer is straight
Heavily serrated, triangular teeth
Extra tall, pointed dorsal fin
