This is a recommendation letter for Christina Chow. Christina was my former nursing
student in the Pediatric clinical rotation at Kapi'olani Community College during Spring
2014.
I am a Faculty/Clinical Instructor for the Pediatric clinical rotation at Kapiolani
Community College Associate in Science Degree Nursing Program. The clinical location
site took place at Tripler Army Medical Center.
During clinical, Christina has shown that she has shown that she has the ability to provide
knowledgeable and therefore provide safe care to assigned patients. She came to clinical
well prepared, comprehended her assigned patients pathophysiology and able to
incorporate appropriate nursing priorities in care. Also, she has remained within her
scope of practice as a student nurse, communicated effectively with primary RN, myself
and caregivers; and has been able to maintain professionalism amongst the staff.
I highly recommend Christina Chow for a position in your unit. She is hardworking,
motivated and reliable in providing safe care. She will be a great addition.
