Looking back on my Argument Summary 2 paper what really stood out to me was how
choppy the language sounded within the paper. I felt as if I had good ideas and I knew what to
say but I just placed them down on paper and forget to edit it and make it sound coherent. After
going back and looking at my main points within the paper and trying to make it all come
together I realized that not only did my paper not flow properly but there was other major
problems in it as well. The two other major points that my paper lacked was my grammar as
well as my analysis of the quotes and my poor conclusion.
I began editing my paper by going through and reading the paper out loud to fix any
grammar mistakes, which there was many, that it had within it. Once I had done this and the
language within it started to flow much better, I went back and editing multiple sentences that
either did not make sense or that I could have reworded to make it sound more clear to the
reader. This began to make the paper sound much better and built a foundation for this paper.
Glossing over the paper I realized that I really liked the ideas and topics that I discussed, as well
as the quotes that I used within the paper. I felt that the material I had could build a strong case
of the argument summary.
Lastly after having a foundational paper I took into account the comments that my
teacher gave to me on the paper, also including my final touches. How I did this is that I went
back and made sure that I was not taking credit for someone else work but rather making sure

that I was giving credit to the authors everywhere it was needed. I made sure that I did not give
my opinion of the topic or what I believed what something meant because I did not do the
research. I lastly went through and made sure that the paper was flowing well and that it was all
clear, concise and most importantly remained a summary throughout the whole paper.
