Draft resolution on the role of youth in employment and entrepreneurship.

Welcoming the era of youth participation in building a more sustainable and equal financial stability
for all, especially in the focus of entrepreuneurship and opening new job fields
Calls upon more actors : Government, NGOs, civil society, and the UN system for youth to:

Ensure that more young people are able to implement their business ideas by mechanism of
microcredit, small to no interest loans.
Help local youth organization to provide experts advice and education in running small
businesses.
Revising the school curricula to include the development of entreupreunership spirit and
business competitive edge.

Further recommends concerning actors to :

Create yearly forums of young entrepreneur for experience sharing and developing
business networks and partnerships.
Building an award system for young people with highest achievement in developing
businesses, especially businesses which have social benefits.
Promote cooperation with big companies in order to support funding and development of
new business innovation.

Noting with regret the high rates of unemployment among young people, especially in developing
countries
Urges concerning actors to :

Ensure protection for young people against discrimination of age and promote merital-based
distribution of wage and promotion in the companys system
Encourage the existence of youth internships in local businesses
Reforming education system to focus more on practical application rather than theoreticalbased
