Research question: What steps do you have to take to become a physical education teacher?
Working thesis statement: There are many different requirements that teachers need to have to
become a physical education teacher.
Refined thesis statement: The following requirements are what teachers have to have to become
a physical education teacher

In this article, Bahneman talks about the different classes that you should take to become a
physical education teacher. Educational psychology is still a very important class that is required
to be a physical education teacher. There are seven different categories of requirements to be a
physical education teacher. The first one is general requirements. The second one is professional
education requirements. The next is professional foundation requirements. The fourth category is
scientific foundation requirements. The fifth category is activity requirements. The sixth group is
curriculum and instruction requirement. The last group is practice experience. All these different
categories have all the different classes you would need to take.

In this article it talks about the preparation practices that physical education teachers have to take
to fulfill the requirements to become a physical education teacher. There are some colleges that
require you to complete coaching credits. The schools that are offering less advanced degrees
have to complete a coaching credit and a participation credit as well. Even though some of the
graduates have a lower degree then some of the other coaches, the teachers with a lower degree
can go more in depth with the activities. One study was hand on with the teacher assistants, they
got to teach different activities other than football, soccer, volleyball, and softball. There are so
many college that offer different degrees in physical education, there are 484 of the best ones.
