Western mens soccer team pulled together to shut out the South Dakota Mines

Hardrockers 4-0.
The game started slow with the Vikings struggling to work the ball into the middle
until Chad Radulovich blasted a goal in during the 30th minute. Less than five
minutes later the Vikings hit their groove as junior Caden Sowers scored.
We were able to finish our chances which we havent done at times this season and
as a result we got a good, comfortable lead, Head Coach Greg Brisbon said.
Going into the second half the Vikings came together for two more goals, one by Tye
Hastings and the other by Radulovich, his second of the night.
Goalkeeper Keegan Rogers commented on his shut-out saying he wasnt worried
during the game.
Defensively we played really well and didnt give up too many opportunities,
Rogers said. I felt comfortable in the back and offensively we got the job done, so
overall it was a good performance by the whole team.
The Vikings look to keep the momentum going Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. when
theyll take on the University of Mary on Robert S. Harrington Field.
