Developed data-driven recommendations for the State of Pennsylvania on the implementation of windpowered turbines throughout the state.
Analyzed climactic and demographic data across Pennsylvania to support site-selection for windpowered turbines.
Independently created and completed a project focused on locating potential expansion sites for the
Pennsylvania State Forest system using GIS technology.
Examined the globalization of the steel industry and analyzed its impact on both domestic and
international markets. Linked the industry to the Clark Fisher Model.
Researched agrarian and urban development in the Central Maryland region using federal census records
from 1880 to 1940 and tracked demographic changes over time.
Conducted a comparative urbanism project on college towns looking into patterns of development and
transportation networks.
Researched the impact of small-scale farming on the environment and its economic feasibility using a
socio-historical analysis.
Software
Working knowledge of GIS software. Have taken both high school and college courses to learn the
software and how to manipulate, analyze, and display data using GIS.
Familiar with Esri ArcGIS and ArcView. Also familiar with Remote Sensing techniques and data.
Proficient in Excel for data gathering, data analysis, and minor statistical work.
