AUTISM
Autism is the result of a neurological disorder

which can precipitate significant social,

communication and behavioral problems. Being
four times more common in boys than in girls,
parents with autistic children often wonder why
this condition occurs. Autism occurs regardless
of nationality or economic status. Autistic
behaviors occur in one out of five hundred
individuals.

CAUSES OF AUTISM ?
Although they are not yet known, there are strong

indications that the causes of autism spectrum

disorders are biological. It is likely that autism is
not caused by a single factor
