Students are not aware of the great History that
occurred so close to Billings, Montana.
This lesson will help them learn the history
through using search engines to try to find at
least 3 important historical events or sites in or
around nearby Billings.
They will search for pictures or information
about the local sites or events by internet
Symbaloo.

The Lesson Structure: Activities


Students will be given access to Symbaloo to
search for historical information.
They may choose any sites/app available to find
information or pictures about their 3 historical
events.
Students will be given a listing of local Billingss
historical sites/landmarks to search on.
Closing Assessment
Students will not have enough time to finish this
search in class.
Students will have access to a printer in the
room.
Homework
If students have access to internet and printer at
home they may work on assignment at home.
If they do not have access, they will be given
time during first, morning recess to complete
their 3 searches.
Self-Evaluation of Lesson
After completing this lesson each student will be
able to identify three important events or places
in Billings.
