The international magazine Business Week has referred to me as a Turn Around
Guru for my work on turning around problem companies, world-wide.

During my first 12 years after my first Degree I was a Scientist in the USA Space Program.
Founded and led JPIndustries, Inc., a Manufacturing Corporation that in ten years became a
Fortune 500 Industrial multinational corporation trading in the New York Stock Exchange. Later
we merged it into a larger corporation.
Became an academic: Professor of Business Strategy and Acquisitions, Univ. of Michigan;
Sr. Lecturer at MIT; and Professor, Postma Chair for Entrepreneurship, Nyenrode Business
University, The Netherlands.
Have authored or co-authored seven books: the most recent book is titled The Technology
Imperative: What Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Really Means in the 21st Century
The international journal Economics and Finance Notes recently published my latest paper
titled An Economic Model of Government Expenditures and Economic Development
Have published and /or presented well over 200 scientific papers on Direct Energy Conversion,
Surface Phenomena, Technology and Society, Finance, Management, Business Strategy, and
Economics.
Have also Lectured / Taught at: Chalmers Technology University, Gothenburg, Sweden;
Reutlingen University, Germany; Karlsruhe Leadership Academy, Germany; Washington
University, St. Louis, Missouri; Easter Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan; Madonna
University, Detroit, Michigan; Cleary University, Ann Arbor, Michigan; and the University of
Maryland, College Park, Maryland.
Have been named Entrepreneur of the year twice by Inc Magazine; the Maryland Academy of
Science (during my work related to Space) named ne the Distinguished Young Scientist of the
year.
Business Week magazine has referred to me as a Turn Around Guru.
