Alissa Jones is a double major in PreProfessional Musical Theatre and Mass


Communications at Emory & Henry
College. She was born on April 30th 1995
in Seattle, Washington. Alissa currently
lives in Kingsport, Tennessee. She is the
daughter of Keri and Greg Jones and
has two elder brothers, Kevin and Ethan
Jones. Alissa has been a lover of the
arts her entire life. She could sing the
theme to The Little Mermaid before she
could even talk. Alissa participates in the
musical theater program, Concert Choir,
the worship band in Encounter, at Emory
& Henry College and works in the choir at
Sinking Springs Presbyterian Church. She
discovered her love of theatre and music
at a very young age and has embraced
the craft as both her passion and life.

There is nothing more freeing then letting go of


your problems and stepping into a character.
The thrill of performing seeps into your veins.
The theatre is like a drug. You get addicted
to the challenge, to the feeling of the wormth
from the hot lights. Its life created through
situations and actions. It brings joy to the
performer and the audience.
