(208) 484-2335 kjblosser@gmail.com 14 December 2014 Lacy Sampson Head of Human Resources Fluke Corporation 6920 Seaway Blvd Everett, WA 98203 Dear Lacy Sampson, I am writing to express my interest in the Hardware Engineering intern position listed on the Fluke Corporation career page. I am scheduled to graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho in May of 2015. My coursework emphasizes in hardware design and the electromagnetic spectrum. With my coursework, I can integrate the two disciplines of electrical engineering. I have a designed hardware systems, a calculator most notably, and have designed an antenna. Additionally I am proficient with hardware design software and antenna design software. The calculator was designed using VHDL. It performed addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and complementation, and was designed using only digital logic tools. The antenna was an open design project with no oversight. I received high marks on the projects as the antenna performed well on the following merits: gain, VSWR, input impedance, bandwidth, and beamwidth. The resume below contains more information on my education, work experience, and other qualifications.
