Introduction to Me
My name is Spencer Owen and I am 19 years old. I am a freshman at the University of
Dayton, and I love it here. I am majoring in Pre-Dentistry. When I am not in school I enjoy
going out with my friends, and playing hockey for the University of Dayton. I have two
brothers, an identical twin named Connor and an older brother Niles, who is 21. Sports are very
important in our family. We have all played hockey since we were three years old, and I played
lacrosse for seven years. Other than sports, religion is very important to me and my family. I
have gone to Catholic schooling my entire life, and have a strong faith. Before this class I did
not have much experience writing papers and was not a skilled writer. Although I have never
liked writing, and still do not, I believe I have gained useful writing skills by taking Writing
Seminar.
