*Kinds of Parivartan Yoga*
Parivartan Yoga may be divided into three main kinds, based on houses
involved in mutual exchange.
Maha Yoga, Kahala Yoga, Dainya Yoga
*Maha Yoga or Maha Parivartana yoga:
*Maha yoga is different from Maha Bhagya Yoga. Maha Yoga is an
auspicious Yoga and both the sign lords of auspicious houses are
involved in this yoga.
Maha Yoga is created when both the interchanged sign lords(ruling
planets) belong to only auspicious houses, i.e., mutual exchange is
between any two sign lords of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th 7th, 9th, 10th or 11th
house from ascendant. Many prominent leaders including Presidents and
Prime Ministers of many countries had this Yoga in their astrological
birth charts. Former Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi had
three Parivartan yoga in her birth chart. Pepsi Co chairman and CEO
Indira Nooyi has also Parivartan Yoga in her astrological chart.
*Explanation*: To explain more clearly, when the auspicious houses,
Kendra ( 1st,4th,7th 10th house), Trikona (1st,5th,9th house),
Dhanashthana (2nd house) representing wealth or Labhsthana(11th house)
representing income, mutually exchange their houses, Maha Yoga is
formed. In Maha Yoga all the inauspicious houses (Dusthana) i.e., 3rd,
6th ,8th ,12th are excluded. There are twenty eight possible Maha Yoga.
*The Maha Parivartan Yoga, an auspicious Yoga may be created in the
following exchange Yogas:*
I.
1) 1st house and 2nd house. 2) 1st house and 4th house. 3) 1st and
5th house. 4) 1st and 7th house. 5) 1st and 9th house. 6) 1st and 10th
house 7) 1st house 11th house.
II. 1) 2nd house and 4th house. 2) 2nd house and 5th house. 3) 2nd
house and 9th house. 4) 2nd house and 10th house. 5) 2nd house and
11th house.
III. 1) 4th house and 5th house. 2) 4th house and 7th house. 3) 4th
house and 9th house.
4) 4th and 10th house. 5) 4th house and 11th house.
IV. 1) 5th house and 7th house. 2) 5th house and 9th house. 3) 5th
house and 10th house. 4) 5th and 11th house.
IV. 1) 7th house and 9th house. 2) 7th house and 10th house. 3) 7th
house and 11th house.
VI. 1) 9th house and 10th house. 2) 9th house and 11th house.
VII. 1) 10th house and 11th house.

*Note*: These two houses(2nd and 7th) are marak houses, so the exchange
should be especially between auspicious planets or Shubh Grahas for
better results, in an individual's birth chart.

to strength of houses involved in the astrological birth chart. Person

*Kahala Yoga:
*Third house involved in Kahala Yoga represents courage and hard work.
Kahal yoga is formed when there is mutual exchange between the sign
lords of 3rd house and one of the auspicious houses i.e., 1st, 2nd, 4th
5th, 7th, 9th, 10th or 11th house from ascendant.
*Explanation: *In Kahala yoga the mutual exchange is only between sign
lords of 3rd house and an auspicious house i.e.,1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th,
9th 10th or 11th house, it is obvious that lords of 6th, 8th, 12th

*Dainya means poor or miserable. When one of the involved sign lord is
lord of an inauspicious house or Dusthana/Dusthana/*Definition: *Bad or

There are thirty possible Dainya yoga, six of them are actually
