Ext. Base Camp
*TOM BUCHANAN and JAY GATSBY fight for Daisy at their base
camp. JORDAN BAKER, DAISY BUCHANAN, and NICOLE CARRRAWAY
are also present.
JORDAN
Its too cold out here to be having a
pointless conversation!
DAISY
I know! I miss how it was before the world
went to Hell.
TOM
Be quiet Daisy! How will complaining make
anything better? Youre only making it
worse.
GATSBY
Woah, just take it easy man! Thats no way
to treat your wife!
TOM
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?
GATSBY
You know Ive killed more zombies than you
have, Tom. You know I wouldnt hesitate to
prove it.
TOM
(Hesitating)
Well.
GATSBY
(Cuts TOM off)
Thats what I thought! You dont even
deserve a girl like Daisy! You cant
protect her like I can! You dont even
love her like I do!

3
Daisy remains in the background watching the argument
unfold, looking very overwhelmed and sitting by a lot of
resources.
TOM
(Begins angrily approaching Gatsby)
And who do you even think you are
anyways? You came to our camp out of
nowhere. God knows what kind of covert
conspiracy youre running; you probably
arent even an actual zombie slayer! An
imposter! Thats what you are!
GATSBY
Tom, youre embarrassing yourself in
front of Daisy and the rest of our group.
Gatsby gestures to Daisy, Nicole, and Jordan sitting in the
back.
GATSBY (CONTD)
And Tom, honestly you should know that
Daisy and I have always loved each other.
She loved me before she ever loved you.
Nicole steps in between Gatsby and Tom arguing.
NICOLE
(To Tom and Gatsby)
Why dont we all just leave before this
escalates even more? We are wasting
daylight. The dead are coming; I can hear
them.
TOM
(To specifically Gatsby)
This isnt over Gatsby, but since you and
Daisy are so in love why dont you both
head back to camp, and well meet you
both there.

4
Scene ends with showing Daisy and Gatsby walking off and
getting into a car together.

SCENE 2
Ext. Road
*DAISY and GATSBY are both in a car, with DAISY driving,
and GATSBY sitting in the passenger seat.
GATSBY
That was ridiculous, what a waste of time.
DAISY
(Begins dramatically moving hands)
Yeah it really was. He does this sort of
thing all the time. Tom has no self
control.
GATSBY
Daisy maybe you should try keeping both
hands on the wheel, and you should also
slow down.
DAISY
I would actually really like to get back
to camp as fast as possible because I am
feeling quite overwhelmed.
DAISY begins to accelerate
DAISY (CONTD)
(Turning to look at GATSBY)
I really dont appreciate you telling me
how to drive anyways, because I know how.
GATSBY
(Sarcastically)
Well I am sorry Daisy, but I would like
for us to get back to camp safely.

5
MYRTLE runs out into the road, and in front of the car.
GATSBY (CONTD)
Hey! Look out!
DAISY
Oh no!
The car hits MYRTLE.
GATSBY
OH MY GOD DAISY PULL OVER! PULL OVER!
DAISY
NO I CANT! YOU CANT MAKE ME! DONT MAKE
ME! I am going to head back to base camp.
Car speeds off, MYRTLE is left to die, and scene 2 ends.
SCENE 3
EXT. Road
WILSON walks into scene shouting for MYRTLE, while MYRTLE
lies dead in the road.
WILSON
(Shouting)
MYRTLE! MYRTLE! WHERE ARE YOU MYRTLE?
WILSON finds MYRTLES body in the road and kneels down
beside it.
WILSON (CONTD)
(Moaning and weeping)
Oh God why? Myrtle why? This cannot be
happening.
WILSON continues to weep by MYRTLES body when TOM, NICOLE,
and JORDAN arrive into the scene.

6
TOM
What on Earth happened?
WILSON
My Myrtle is gone. She is dead. She got
hit by a car.
JORDAN
I can go grab a sheet to cover her. Come
help me Nicole.
NICOLE and JORDAN leave and come back with a sheet and
cover MYRTLES body.
WILSON
I just cant believe shes gone after all
weve been through; after all Ive done
for her. Twelve whole years of marriage
with her, and I still do not even regret
one day of those years.
JORDAN
(In a comforting tone)
The pain doesnt go away; you will just
have to make room for it.
WILSON
I guess I need to find out who did this.
I saw a big suburban driving earlier.
That car mustve been the car that killed
Myrtle.
TOM
(Contemplating out loud)
Then Gatsby must have hit Myrtle. I must
go back to camp. Jordan and I will leave,
and Nicole, you can stay with Wilson
until he pulls himself together.
JORDAN and TOM leave scene.

WILSON
(Flustered and angry)
What? WHY THAT NO GOOD SON OF A
MOTHERLESS JACKAL! I OUGHT TO SHOW HIM!
NICOLE
Try to calm down man, just take it easy
okay?
Ill tell you what, I can go out and pick
you up some berries to cheer you up.
NICOLE pats WILSON on the back and then walks off for
berries, leaving WILSON by himself.
Whilst waiting WILSON pulls out a bottle and begins
drinking, he also begins fiddling with his gun.
WILSON becomes very drunk and walks off, instead of waiting
for NICOLE to return with berries.
WILSON makes his way to base camp to hunt Gatsby down,
clearly irrational, distraught, and angry.
MYRTLES arm is revealed and starts twitching as she begins
to reanimate.
SCENE 4
EXT. Outside in camps
WILSON finally reaches GATSBY and walks up behind him,
while he was sharpening his knife.
WILSON
(Shaking)
You killed the one I loved. YOU KILLED
HER AND DIDNT EVEN STOP TO HELP!
WILSON reaches for his gun slowly, and Gatsby looks up from
sharpening his knife and turns around.
WILSON (CONTD)

8
Ill see you in hell; well both be
burning for this. Both soulless, coldblooded killers. Just like the dead.
GATSBY
Wilson, think about what you are
Before GATSBY can finish, he is shot in the face by
WILSON.
WILSON
There arent many people left in this
forsaken earth, but I dont deserve to be
one of them.
WILSON then shoots himself.
Fade out.
NICOLE (V.O.)
Thats what this world does to you, angry
makes you stupid, and stupid gets you
killed.
