MY THOUGHTS OF MY FIRST YEAR WITH A

CELLO

I thought the cello was Interesting and had a pleasant sound.

I thought it would be harder than what it was.

I thought doing concerts was cool, especially being one of the few
people at the front of the entire stage.

I thought putting my fingers down on the strings was really hard for the
first 3 months, then I got the hang of it and found it quite easy.

CELLOS FEATURES

Putting the fingers down goes from 1 to 3 to 4, instead of 1 to 2 to 3.

You sit instead of standing, unlike with the violin.

It is a part of the strings family.

It is one of the biggest instruments in the string family.

The sound it makes is lower than the violins sound.

It also has the strings A, D, G, and C.

THINGS THAT I LIKE ABOUT THE CELLO

I like the sound.

I like that cello players can sit instead of standing.

I like that I am at the front of the stage when I am doing concerts.

I also like that the cello makes a lot of sound and can stand out.

THINGS I DISLIKE ABOUT THE CELLO

I dislike that when you sit down with the cello,

in order to make it stand up straight you have to
use your knees to make it still, and eventually
your knees get a bit sore.

SONGS THAT I HAVE PLAYED

B Blues

D Major Scale

American Fiddle Tune

Cant remember the rest of the songs!!!!!!!!
