he new promo poster for Season 6 of The

Vampire Diaries has been released, and it sets
the stage for some interesting character
interactions in the next chapter of the CW series.
Viewers will remember that Season 5 of
The Vampire Diaries concluded with Damon (Ian
Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) following
through on a plan to kill the Travelers. The plan
involved sacrificing their lives but they had a
backup set in place in order to return to the land of
the living. Thanks to Liv (Penelope Mitchell), Elena
and a handful of other Mystic Falls loved ones were
able to pass through Bonnie (Kat Graham). But
Damon wasnt one of the lucky ones. When Livs
magic got cut off, Damon was stuck on the crumbling
Other Side permanently dead. The blow was
devastating for the group, but what no one realized
was that when the Other Side vanished, Bonnie

would disappear too.The deaths of Bonnie and

Damon have been a point of focus for fans
since Season 5 ended. The poster features Damon,
Bonnie, Elena, Stefan (Paul Wesley), Matt (Zach
Roerig), Caroline (Candice Accola), Tyler (Michael
Trevino), Jeremy (Steven R. McQuee), Alaric
(Matthew Davis) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey). But
all eyes are on Bonnie and Damon on the left side.
The characters are not smoky or transparent, meaning
that they could potentially return to the land of the
living in Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries. But the
most shocking thing about the pair is that they seem
to be holding on to one another.
On the opposite side of the image is Elena.
Damons former girlfriend doesnt seem to be
worried about Bonnie and Damon holding onto each
other because shes clutching Stefans hand.

iven that The Vampire Diaries is already

out of high school, there may be a few of you
out there that thought that some of these
stories regarding dances and such were finally over.
Well, think again! Instead, this is going to be a
crucial part of the upcoming episode The World Has
Turned and Left Me Here airing on October 30. Our
biggest disappointment is that given that this is airing
the day before Halloween, we would have preferred
to hear about something spooky coming up.
Instead, the official synopsis fr this episode
below (courtesy of The CW) makes more of an effort
to really paint the picture of Elena continuing to try
to move on from Damon, while of course at the same
time not even being aware of her true feelings of her
anymore. Also, there will be at least one shocking
event in the hour, and surprisingly, Damon and
Bonnie are still going to be trapped somewhere else:
To us, we have to admit that the biggest
surprise really is seeing that Ian Somerhalder and Kat
Grahams characters are somehow still a part of this
other-side-that-is-really-not-the-other-side. Usually,
storytellers on TV choose to abandon their big twists
a few episodes in, mostly because they are afraid of
keeping the risk going. Well give the writers a little
bit of credit; now is the time, after all, for this show
to take risks, given that the ratings have fallen
recently to a surprising degree.

history of the show. There was no ripping his heart

out, there was no neck snapping. Instead, he and
Bonnie joined hands, closed their eyes and went to
what Id like to believe is Vampire Heaven. I mean,
they saved all their friends, so you would think that
would land them at the gates, right?
Throughout the five seasons of TVD, weve
seen a ton of characters come and go almost all of
the characters are actually dead! However, theyve
almost all been brought back, either by magic or as
ghosts. From Anna (Malese Jow), Vicky (Kayla
Ewell) and Lexi (Arielle Kebbel), to Jeremy (Steven
R. McQueen) and Bonnie and well, all the Original
vamps, weve seen far too many return from the
dead.
But Damon and Bonnies death was
different. Theyre not on the Other Side the Other
Side is gone and so are they. If they return, it will it
be pretty much mean that all of this season dedicated
to saving the Other Side would have been pointless
since people can still return.

The worst day of loving someone is the day that

you lose them. "

Vampire Diaries Season

6 Spoilers: Episode 3
Synopsis Released Online;
What Will Happen In
Welcome To Paradise?

t has been an emotional two

weeks for Vampire Diaries
fans. While the beloved CW
series did return for its sixth
season on Oct. 2, the first few
episodes have been heartbreaking
to watch as the supernatural gang
dealt with the loss of not only their
friends, but of their town.
Fortunately
it
sounds
like
everything will be turning around
in episode 3.
Episode 3, Welcome to
Paradise, will feature something
shocking our favorite characters
having fun! Elena (Nina Dobrev)
successfully had Alaric (Matt
Davis) wipe her love for Damon
(Ian Somerhalder) from her
memory in episode 2. The move
was a drastic one, but necessary
for the vampire to move on. Shell
do just that in episode 3 when she
persuades
Caroline
(Candice
Accola) to meet her at the local
swimming hole. According to the
synopsis, Elena wants to introduce
Caroline to Liam (Marco James).
Unfortunately Caroline does not
share the same carefree attitude as
Elena after discovering that Stefan
(Paul Wesley) abandoned her to
start a new life.
Stefans perfect new life
was shattered in episode 2 though.

Enzo
(Michael
Malarkey) killed Stefans new
girlfriend, Ivy (Emily
C. Chang), and vowed to make his
life miserable to honor Damons
memory. But it doesnt look like
Stefan will be sitting back and
waiting for Enzos next move.
Hell return to Mystic Falls to
search for Enzo but instead end
up getting caught off guard when
he notices a strange change in
Elena.
Enzo wont just be
butting heads with Stefan in
Welcome to Paradise. His
actions at the lake will cause Matt
(Zach Roerig) to make a startling
revelation. Meanwhile Jeremys
(Steven R. McQueen) poor attitude
might change when he discovers
something about the anti-magic
spell that could potentially put
Elenas life in danger.
The drama wont end
there in episode 3 of The
Vampire Dairies. The sexual
tension between Tyler (Michael
Trevino) and Liv (Penelope
Mitchell) will continue to grow
when Tyler asks her for a favor
regarding his uncontrollable anger
issues. But Tyler will get caught
off guard when Liv makes an
unexpected confession.
Finally,
for
those
keeping tabs on Bonnie (Kat
Graham) and Damon, the pair
who are stuck in Mystic Falls
(specifically May 10, 1994) will
"stumble upon clues that lead them
to believe theyre not alone."

he TVD cast member Julie

Plec talked about during an
exclusive E!Online TV
Scoop report is none other than
actress Nina Dobrev, who portrays
Elena Gilbert in "The Vampire
Diaries." However, fans will not
be really seeing Elena in "The
Originals" Season 2 because the
25-year-old actress will be
portraying
another
Petrova
doppelganger named Tatia.
Fans can recall that Klaus and
Elijah revealed about their past
with Tatia, a girl they both fell in
love with, in "The Vampire
Diaries" Season 3, episode 13
titled "Bringing Out The Dead."
Julie Plec explained that they will
be introducing the character now
in "The Originals" because of her
connection to the history of the
Mikaelson siblings and her story
was king of left hanging, The
Vampire Diaries mythology into
The Originals mythology," Julie
Plec shared. She further added that
the presence of Tatia, who happens
to be the Original doppelganger,
will bring out once again Klaus
and Elijah's side of struggling with
being in love with one woman
which is comparable to what
happened with Stefan and Damon
in "The Vampire Diaries."

The Vampire Diaries Recap:

Season 5, Episode 21
Stefan Dies!

id Stefan Salvatore really

just die? We knew The
Vampire
Diaries was
going to kill off someone
important in this episode, and we
speculated that it might be Stefan,
but we had no idea that Stefan was
going to go out in such a gruesome
way in Season 5, Episode 21. And
poor Caroline was a witness to the
whole thing!
TVD has a knack for
memorable death scenes, and part
of what made Stefan's death so
shocking is that it happened so
suddenly. Seriously! One minute
he was fighting with Julian (in
Tyler's hybrid body) and the next,
Julian was holding Stefan's heart
in his hand. That's right. Julian
ripped out Stefan's heart! Now,
seeing as the Other Side is
currently falling apart, we don't
think this death is permanent at
least we don't want to believe it.
Stefan has grown into one of our
favorite characters over the last

few seasons (read: the best

character on the show), and his
friendship with Caroline is the best
part of the show! We just don't see
how Julie Plec and Co. can make
this death permanent.
Then again, it does end the love
triangle once and for all, which is a
very good thing for the series.
Perhaps Stefan's death would be
the catalyst TVD needs to fix itself.
This past season has faltered when
it came to storytelling. Stefan is an
amazing character, but in his
absence, perhaps other character
will step up to the plate.
OK, so now that you've
had some time to deal with the
reality of Stefan's fate, let's rewind
at start from the top. The
penultimate episode begins with a
scene at the Salvatore mansion. In
the wake of Stefan and Elenas
doppelnapping,
Damon
is
questioning (read: torturing) a
Traveler or, rather a Passenger
residing inside poor Mr. Sykes
and getting nowhere. It turns out
these Travelers are really good at
keeping quiet and really bad at
keeping
track
of
Markos
whereabouts.
Luckily for Damon, but
unluckily for Mr. Sykes, a rogue
Traveler sets Stefan and Elena free
from Markos blood-draining
dungeon. Theyre weak and
hungry, but hey, at least they have
their lives. And wed totally watch
a spinoff of them trying to live off
the grid. Hunting for squirrels is
not Elenas forte. You think they
would have learned more survival
skills hunting for the cure.

With nothing better to

do, Stefan and Elena entertain
themselves by asking W.W.C.D.
What Would Caroline Do?
We love that the TVD writers love
Caroline Forbes as much as we do.
We only wish she would have had
more screentime in this episode.
(And if Caroline was around, there
would definitely be two rainbows.)
Eventually, Stefan and Elena get
picked up by the same rogue
Traveler who set them free and
it happens to be Julians wife. She
wants to save her husband, which
is awkward because Stelena
obviously wants to save their
friend. But they dont have a ton of
time because now that he has the
doppelganger blood, Markos is
about to start the spell to rid
Mystic Falls of magic.
Enter the Wonder Twins.
Luke and Liv tried everything they
could to stop the Travelers, so in a
desperate attempt to stop Markos,
they decide they have to kill one of
the doppelgangers. So they attack
Stelena during their joyride back
to the Salvatore mansion. Julians
wife Maria dies in the crash
hey, Bonnie, whats up, girl?
which leaves Stelena in a
dangerous situation.
