Overall Reflection
First off, looking at my grades from my memoir, my grade on the first draft was
an 83%, and after the editing process my final draft received an 87%. I felt this was
definitely my strongest paper despite the grades that I received on all my papers. Next,
my film analysis essay received an 83% on the first draft and ended up as an 86%.
Finally, my visual rhetoric essay first draft was a 78% and my final grade is currently
unknown. If I had to guess, my final grade is probably around an 82% just based off of
the average increase on my other papers. It is safe to say that I am a B grade writer,
but could definitely be better if I worked harder on my essays instead of slacked off. The
most important part of the modules that help were the interactive presentations on the
internet. They were a hands-on learning tool that I think really helped all of the class to
better understand the material covered. The use of the FANBOYS will help me in my
future writing career in the use of commas. Another great, although somewhat
unrelated, source of learning were the TedED talks. Luckily for me watch a very
interesting talk about memory in my psych class that really helped me write my memoir
essay.
