It is with pleasure that I support Shauna Hauck as a candidate for employment with your school district.
I was the University Supervisor for Shauna during her student teaching experience. During that
semester, she exhibited sound knowledge of content coupled with excellent instructional skills. Shauna
demonstrated a strong understanding of professional, state and district standards. She modeled
excellent communication skills; clearly communicating expectations and directions to students while
maintaining a positive and professional relationship with all students, teachers, administrators, and
other school staff. Shauna effectively used on-going formative assessment to monitor student progress
related to learning objectives and made adjustments to instruction as needed. She continually reflected
on the effects of her teaching on student learning. Shauna actively sought and used resources to
improve her performance.
Shauna Hauck will be a positive influence in all the lives a teaching career can touch.
