Resource, Brief Description: I will demonstrate how to field a ground ball. I will

demonstrate how to field a ground ball straight-on, and from the backhand and
forehand. At the end, I will demonstrate how to successfully turn a double-play as a
second baseman.

Target Learners: Individuals who know about baseball/softball but unsure of the

techniques and mechanics that is involved with fielding ground balls and turning
double-plays.

Learning Objective(s):
As a result of using this learning resource, a target learner will be able to

effectively field a ground ball from three different positions, and turn a double-play.
