Procedure:

Materials Needed:

Tell the story of Mitch the Fish. Practice the


story so you dont have to rely too heavily on
the story card and can interact with the kids as
you read.

Flannel board
Felt pieces to the story:
Orange, red, yellow, blue, and black fish
Lobster, starfish, whale, and shark

Have the children try to say the chorus of the


story with you:
Im Mitch the fish.
I swim and I swish.
And I can change my color
If I wish.
