CHARACTERS
RASCAL (played by Alexis Perez)- He is a 25 year-old cholo born on the streets of East Los
Angeles. Whenever there is a problem between gangs, everyone calls Rascal to settle the
conflict. He knows that hes got Baby Girl wrapped around his finger and he keeps her around to
conceal his secret. He is actually in love with his sideman Lil Loco, but he hasnt told anyone
with fears that people would look down at him and question his authority.
LIL LOCO (played by Chelsea Molato)- He is a 22 year-old cholo adopted into the home of
Rascal. He sees Rascal as his best friend, but he knows that Rascal will always be the main
authority figure. He is in love with Baby Joker, but he will never confess his love because she is
Rascals girl.
BABY JOKER (played by Christina Rodriguez)- 22 years old, Migrated from Boyle heights with
her sister Shy Girl. She is in love with Rascal, but Lil Loco has a mad crush on her. She is the
more confident seductive sister who is willing to do anything to get Rascals attention. She has a
huge secret that will shock everyone.
SHY GIRL (played by Ashley Reuben)- 21 years old, Still trying to adjust to the move from Boyle
Heights, she falls in love with Lil Loco and is confused on why he hasnt made a move on her
already. She asks for help from her sister Baby Joker to get the attention of Lil Loco.
SETTING
[TIME: present day East Los Angeles. PLACE: hanging out in some random parking lot.]
LIL LOCO: [running towards Rascal] Homie, we gotta problem. The Little Valley and King
Kobras are at it again. I think its about to get real violent, real soon.
RASCAL: Ese, chill. Let them settle their arguments. Sometimes a little bloodshed is good. It
shows the other gangs that the LV and KK are straight up ruthless. Scares them a little.
LIL LOCO: Okay man, whatever you say.
[Baby Joker and Shy Girl come in]
BABY JOKER: [comes up to Rascal and leans on him seductively (like the advertisement)] Papi,
Ive missed you.

RASCAL: Puta, I saw you yesterday.

SHY GIRL: Dont talk to my sister like that.
BABY JOKER: Dont worry girl, hes just messin.
SHY GIRL: Okay whatever loca.
LIL LOCO: Aye she may be loca, but she hella foooinneee, am I right Rascal? [high fives
Rascal]
SHY GIRL: Hey Lil Loco, what do you think of my new shirt?
LIL LOCO: Looks like you just cut up my wife beater into a crop top.
RASCAL: I see you chica, tryna show off your assets.
BABY JOKER: You already know. We couldnt leave the apartment until she thought she looked
good enough for Lil Loco.
SHY GIRL: [tries to act all tough] shutup thats you for Rascal
LIL LOCO: Aye Baby Joker, Im really feelin that bandana of yours.
BABY JOKER: Shy Girl chose it.
RASCAL: Would you like it if I wore it? Im just messin ese. Thats a chick bandana.
LIL LOCO: Ha you funny Rascal.
BABY JOKER: Damn, Im hungry, can we get food?
SHY GIRL: You are always hungry.
LIL LOCO: haha its like you pregnant!
RASCAL: Aye man, dont make jokes like that. [Hits Lil Loco]
LIL LOCO: Sorry homie!
BABY JOKER [gets off Rascal and looks sick]
SHY GIRL: Hey mama, you okay?

BABY JOKER: [tries to play it cool] Yeah girl dont bout me, Im good.
RASCAL: Ay then come on lets go.
LIL LOCO: Where we headed ese?
SHY GIRL: Hey how bout we hit up that crazy pollo. I want me some shiiickeeeeeeeen.
BABY JOKER: [about to throw up] OH HELL NO, I aint eating no chicken.
SHY GIRL: Girl, you sure you good?
BABY JOKER: [hesitates] Actually no, I have an announcement.
RASCAL: If you say you spent all that money I gave you on new clothes, imma be pissed.
LIL LOCO: Aye man, it seems serious. I gotchu girl, Go ahead Baby Joker.
BABY JOKER: Well. [strokes her stomach] I am pregnant.
RASCAL: Ha, you funny babe
SHY GIRL: I think shes serious.
[Rascal covers his mouth and looks down at the floor with disbelief. The room is silent.]
SHY GIRL: [shocked expression]
LIL LOCO: [Trying to hide that he is hurt] Homie, your pull out game is weak!
RASCAL: Imma slap you real hard man. This is real. Baby Joker how is this even possible?
BABY JOKER: [rolls eyes] Vato please, you really need me to explain it to you?
RASCAL: No, damn, I just cant believe this, I aint ready for no kid.
BABY JOKER: Well you better GET READY cause its happening.
SHY GIRL: Yeah, and you BETTER be there for her.
RASCAL: [About to faint] Yeah yeah I know!
LIL LOCO: Whoa whoa, homie you needa take a seat.

RASCAL: Yeah yeah youre right, help me over.

LIL LOCO: [helps RASCAL move to a bench on the sidewalk]
BABY JOKER: Woah Baby, whats wrong?
RASCAL: Well you just told me youre pregnant! What the hell you think?
SHY GIRL: Calm down, this doesnt just affect you! Think about my sis!
LIL LOCO: Shy Girl is right homie, youre both in this together.
RASCAL: But it wasnt supposed to happen!
BABY JOKER: What do you mean?!
RASCAL: I dont love you like that Joker and I especially dont want no baby.
SHY GIRL: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING?!
BABY JOKER: ARE YOU SAYING YOU HAVE ANOTHER GIRL ON THE SIDE?!
LIL LOCO: Hey homie, thats not right.
RASCAL: NO! I aint got no side chick, chill!
BABY JOKER: Then what are you trying to say?!
RASCAL: . . .
SHY GIRL: So? Speak Vato.
LIL LOCO: Whats going on man?
RASCAL: Im in love with LIL LOCO.
[Everyone stands there shocked.]
LIL LOCO: [faints]
SHY GIRL: Oh my GAD!! [Runs to his side]
RASCAL: LOCO!!

BABY JOKER: Hold up, since when?!

RASCAL: That doesnt matter right now Joker! Lil Loco just fainted!
LIL LOCO: [wakes up] What just happened??
BABY JOKER: Rascal just confessed his love to you!
LIL LOCO: What?! Oh man I thought that was just a dream! Is it true vato?? Since when?!
RASCAL: Since we met Loco.
BABY JOKER: Then how come you acted like you loved me?!
RASCAL: Because I didnt want you guys to find out, I thought you guys might reject me for
being different.
SHY GIRL: and you decide now is the right time to tell us?!
BABY JOKER: Yeah Rascal, Im pregnant!
LIL LOCO: Dont worry, I can help you take care of the baby.
SHY GIRL: Wait what now?
RASCAL: Yeah what the hell does that mean Loco?
LIL LOCO: [Walk towards Baby Joker, holds hands] Let me take care of you.
RASCAL: Have you been trying to make a move on my girl this whole time?
SHY GIRL: [Staring at Lil Loco] You like her?!
BABY JOKER: [To Shy Girl] I had no idea sis.
LIL LOCO: [To Rascal] Homie, you dont even like Baby Joker.
SHY GIRL: Loco?! How could you not see that I love you?!
LIL LOCO: Im sorry, but you know Ive never tried to make a move on you, Ive always been in
love with Baby Joker.
SHY GIRL: [Annoyed] Yeah I can see that.

BABY JOKER: Well then how am I going to take care of this baby, if his father doesnt even love
me!
RASCAL: Just because I dont love you like that, doesnt mean I wont care for you and our
baby!
LIL LOCO: Oh now you wanna step up and help?
RASCAL: I never said I was gonna leave Joker and our baby alone, I just wont be with Joker
anymore because I love you, Loco.
LIL LOCO: Well man, I aint like that so youre going to have to find someone else. You already
know that I love Joker and that I will always take care of her and the baby.
SHY GIRL: Even though Im hurt that Loco loves you and not me, you know Im always there for
you sis.
BABY JOKER: [Hugs her sister] I know, we can take care of this baby together. We dont need
no man to help us.
LIL LOCO: But Baby Joker, I love you! I can take care of you!
BABY JOKER: This isnt your baby to take care of and I dont love you Lil Loco, not like that.
RASCAL: Yeah, its my baby so back up.
SHY GIRL: Hey! Why dont you back up. Its up to my sister to decide what SHE wants to do
now.
BABY JOKER:Yeah and I just said I dont want either of you. My sis and I will be just fine, but
you can still visit your child once he or she is born, Rascal.
RASCAL: Alright, I guess thats fair enough.
LIL LOCO: [feels hurt] So youre just going to shut me out like that?
BABY JOKER: No, but you have to understand that I dont love you like you love me. We can
only be friends.
LIL LOCO: Well okay, I understand how you feel, as long as I can be there to help, then Im
okay.
BABY JOKER: Well then its settled. Now I think my sis and I are gonna bounce. This has been
a long ass day and I really needa rest.

SHY GIRL: Yeah lets go.

[Shy Girl and Baby Joker went home and lived happily ever after. Rascal and Lil Loco were
never the same around each other, but they all got along for the babys sake. End Scene.]
