The teacher understands and uses multiple methods of

assessment to engage learners in their own growth, to
monitor learner progress, and to guide the teachers and
learners decision-making.

Brief Description: I wrote three informative blogs to
address my understanding in Educational Psychology.
Rationale: To document my understanding of Standard 6:
Assessment, I have included my blog entries. By examining
my own cognitive thinking I have been able to identify
accommodations to previous beliefs and behaviors. I am
continually seeking to improve myself and implement
ways to assess my needs as a learner, but also my
students needs in the future. Understanding that
development is a crucial part in the learning process I have
aligned it with my own beliefs. To properly evaluate and
report progress is an effective strategy in communicating
positive feedback and how it meets specific standards.
