FPNCW Monthly

Our mission is to protect your rights to reproductive freedom

and sexual health services.
Dear Supporters,
Okanogan Family Planning closed their doors on November 15. A concerned consortium met to
discuss how to continue Family Planning services in that area. Fortunately, the Board of Directors of
Family Health Centers has offered the space of their old WIC site, at 716 1st Ave S, in Okanogan, for
Family Planning services. FPNCW is currently taking applications for ARNP, licensed nurse, and
bilingual receptionist. Limited services will be starting in January, after staff is hired.
The need for Family Planning services is greater than ever, with fewer resources than ever. With the
outbreak of gonorrhea in Grant County (Wenatchee World, 12/11/14), FPNCW is working with Grant
County Public Health to offer low or no cost testing and treatment for gonorrhea and other sexually
transmitted infections. Please help us serve the needs of our communities in the four county region
of Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan. We need funds to buy contraception, tests, and
medicine. Send a check to FPNCW, 900 Ferry Street, Wenatchee, WA, 98801 or donate online at
www.fpncw.org.
Thank you and Happy Holidays to all of you!

World AIDS Day Zumbathon

On December 1st, a Zumbathon was held at the
Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club to raise
funds for local HIV/AIDS testing. With the support of
the community, we were able to raise $496!
We now have 3 certified employees at both
the Wenatchee and Moses Lake clinics that
can help people enroll for health insurance.
Get covered at Family Planning.
