the

following directions :
1. So far as this academic session of 2014-15 is
concerned, there will not be any examination/assessment
for Sanskrit language in standards 6, 7 & 8.
2. The students of standards 6, 7 & 8 who are
already learning German language as third language, will
take the examination/assessment for this academic session

From

the

next

academic

session

of

2015-16

onwards, the students of standards 6, 7 & 8 will take

examination

in

Sanskrit

or

any

other

modern

Indian

language as third language.

4. However, those students who want to continue to
learn German language, are free to do so as an optional
subject.
5. All facilities required for teaching optional
subjects

will

be

made

available

in

all

the

Kendriya

Vidyalaya Schools.
