LAB:

LAB 1:
1. Go to BIOS by pressing F10 and look at Systems Info and Advanced BIOS option
for Boot sequence. Understand why and how boot sequence needs to be changed.
2. Create an email address and send an email to the instructor from that address.
3. Learn to work with file systems in Windows Explorer: Open MS Word, write a
document, save it in a designated folder on C drive. Name the folder MIS105. Use
save and Save AS. Understand the difference between save and save as.
4. Open DOS from Windows and do these commands:
Cd .., MD, DIR, Del, Help, edit.
5. Understand different options under display settings in Windows.
6. Understand different options in Toolbar menu properties in Windows.
LAB 2:
1. Learn new features of PowerPoint 2007.
2. Learn how to create a PowerPoint presentation in 2007.
3. Learn how to customize different features in PowerPoint 2007.
4. Create a sample PP presentation in class and show it to the instructor.
