History:
The Tea Time is a tradicional British custom where high society people taking
tea at 4 pm. The tea break is a Little break during the hours of work consisting of
15 minutes; where it often takes the teacup, accompanied by a sndwich,
cookies and crackers.
Before tea was introduced in the UK, the English had two main meals: breakfast
and dinner. The custom of driking tea begin in the eighteenth century, when
people realized dinner later and later and began having a light lunch between
breakfast and dinner. Still, this left some hours between meals. Some members
of the aristocracy were accustomed to have a cup of tea with a snack around
five in the afternoon. This practise gained great popularity spread to other social
clases.
