SyTech will provide a DropBox link with

the required setup files, we require a one
time phone conversation to ensure the
bug is setup properly and the user has a
clear understanding of basic fundamentals
for using the SmartBug product.

The user can arrange with SyTech to
send an Android loaner. Supplies
however are limited and this can take
some time. A deposit might be required.

SyTech will provide a DropBox link, with an additional

texting application that replaces the default Android
SMS client. Android Version 4.4 (KitKat) changed
security permissions regarding SMS and how SMS is
delivered to the handset. The new texting application
will allow for everyday text conversations to take
place, but it shields the user from discrete commands
sent from those that are monitoring the device in
another location.
Consequently, SyTech does not recommend a personal
phone be used for SmartBug.
