Application Letter

Dear Cleo Indonesia,

My name is Namira Syafriani, I am 22 years old and currently pursuing my degree
at Faculty of Communication, Padjajaran University Majoring in Public Relations at
Bandung This is my 4th year and according to my faculty, I need to have an
experience in the field of public relations as one of graduation requirement.
Therefore, I know your company runs Cleo Indonesia, a well-known magazine with a
good reputation in Indonesian Woman lifestyle and fashion journalism, which Im
very eager to join as a public relations officer trainee.
I learned about public relations functions theorytically in my college, and I do some
public relations activity in my organization. I gained practical skills in managing
campaigns, doing media relations, managing publicity, organizing event, and working
in team. I have a good skill in managing strategy, negotiating and

persuasing

people. I am willing to word hard and I can work under pressure. I am interested in
anything related to communications, women lifestyle, and fashion, hopefully I could
learn more if I just have the opportunity.
Due to graduation requirement, I need minimum a month of job training on your
magazine, starting April 30th or May 7th and I have no problem doing the full time
work as a trainee. I'm hoping that with this letter I have given you, the good people at
Cleo Indonesia, could be the reason why I should be considered in joining your
magazine.
