Introduction

Alumni interaction in B-schools is an important trait when it comes to ranking B-schools.

Therefore, it is no surprise to find that B-schools which are ranked high have a very strong
alumni base. Our study focusses on how alumni interaction can be enhanced in B-schools
Methodology
As a part of our study, we plan to use the following techniques to arrive at our conclusion:

Netnography: We plan to reach out to them by circulating questionnaires in a mix of

likert scales and open ended questions
In depth interviews: We also intend to capture DV and IV by talking to few alumnis.

How is Alumni Success Measured?

While there is no standard method to measure the strength of the alumni network, following
are some broad indicators as to how one can arrive at a conclusion

Involvement in B-school competitions

No of students joining the school because of alumni references
Facilitation in placements
Contribution to college academic events (like bringing in corporates to deliver guest
lectures)
