Summary Answer

Feeding baby pandas is not easy especially with foster feeding as things are not as
simple. First the caregiver has to carefully wrap the baby pandas body with a cotton gauze
patch. Then , using the other hand, the nanny has to hold a milk bottle and gently touch its
mouth with the bottle teat. Unless the milk is smeared on its lips, the panda wont open its
mouth instinctively. If the panda is too nervous or frightened , it wont feed. The senior
feeder in the nursery has to take care of six baby pandas all by himself. Moreover is the
milk gets cold, it has to be warmed up.
