Engaging with Vulnerable Populations

Here are some ways that you can contribute:

Share information or write a reflection of your experiences with vulnerable

populations (i.e. newcomers who face extra barriers such as physical or mental
health problems, low levels of first language literacy, experience of trauma,
violence or abuse, complex cultural issues or lack of life skills, employability or
financial means.)

Recommend resources related to the theme of working with vulnerable

populations

Write a review of an article, book, blog, or PD activity related to working with

vulnerable populations

Submit relevent regional news

Interview a colleague or students about their experiences

Tell us about how your organization is engaging with vulnerable populations

Share a success story
