Olaf: I'm seeing a man!
[a man comes]
Mar: Hail king Olaf! I'm called Eirkr and I am icelandic.
Olaf: Hail Eirkr!
Eirkr: Do you see the serpent there, king?
Olaf: I don't see a serpent.
Eirkr: But it (the serpent) is here!
[now Olaf sees the serpent]
Olaf: A serpent! I see a serpent!
Serpent: Olaf! I see Olaf!
Eirkr: The snake is saying "Olaf"?
Serpent: No. Serpents doesn't speak.
[Olaf and Eirkr flee]
[Eric, a thief and viking, sees Serpent, a boat that Olaf has]
Eric: There is a boat!
[Hawk, icelandic, talks]
Hawk: Olaf has the boat.
[Olaf comes]
Olaf: I'm seeing men!
Eric and Hawk: "We two are here."
Olaf: "Are you two taking the boat?"
Eric and Hawk: "We two are not taking it (the boat)."
Olaf: "The boat is called Serpent. I have a boat."
[Eric and Hawk calls]
Eric and Hawk: Wolf! Wolf! There is a wolf!
Olaf: A wolf? I hate wolves!
[Wolf, Norwegian and thief, comes]
Olaf: "I see no wolf. Is here a wolf?
Wolf: Here am I, king Olaf.
[Eric, Hawk and Wolf take the boat and flee]
Olaf: Thieves! I hate thieves!
Eric, Hawk and Wolf: "We are vikings, we have a boat that is called Serpent!"
