To Whom It May Concern:
The Education Undergraduate Society arranges and provides Professional Development workshops for
education students at the University of Lethbridge. This letter is written at the request of Elyse Hnatiuk
who attended the following seminars during the months of September through December of 2014:
Science 101 She learned how to come up with cool and exciting lab experiments at a variety of age
levels., and that you can create science experiments in a cross-curricular manner to have students learn
at a variety of levels.
Twitter and Education She learned that social media can be utilized to help students learn, and she
also writes that, tweeting constantly of even the little things I do in teaching can help me get a job.
First Year Teaching Experiences She learned that it is important to take pictures and resources from
PS1 TA's and that the first week of teaching (in September) should be more about building relationships
and trust with students rather than teaching them anything.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at edu.eus@uleth.ca or at
