Being part of a voluntary group has added to me much more than expected.

As a
member of Al Amal group that has performed around the social aspect during
February and March- was with a great value as it helped in reaching community
members. The group has aimed to spread hope all over people and get them to think
deeply of all things they have, believe in themselves and avoid desperation. The group
has focused on different categories as follows:

Orphans

Cancer patients

People with disabilities

Starting from these categories, we met several times and created the group plan and
started the actual work. By the end of March we have achieved number of goals as
follows:
-

Videos, pictures for each category in social media.

Visited al-sanabel orphans centre.

Visited cancer patients in Al-Salmanya medical complex and distributed patient

cards with hadeeth.

Health awareness by designing a poster about honey in Islam which is distributed all
over health centers.

Visited al-amal special education institute.

Have organized one-day session with disabled centre about the sign language.

Came up with a proposal to teach sign language as an elective in schools.
