SuperBad is a mainstream film which

was, produced by Shauna Robertson.

Storyline introduced
and how it evolves

In the beginning we are introduced to two of the main characters;

Seth and Evan. They are later on in the opening of the film invited
to a party being organised by a girl who is, liked by one of the
main characters being Seth.
Seth after making a promise to provide the drinks for the party
ends up dragging his bets friend Evan into to the quest of attaining
alcoholic beverages.
Seth decides to go to the extremes after it appeared to them that,
their initial plan to purchase alcohol through their friend Fogell,
who went by the name McLovin according to his fake ID had back
fired.

List of Characters

Jonah Hill as Seth (Goes to the extremes to attain alcohol for Jules who he really likes.)

Micheal Cera as Evan (Follows his best friend through his mission and contemplates if
its best to terminate their friendship or not. He also pursues Becca who Seth resents.

Seth Rogen as Officer Michaels (He as well as Officer Slater try and show Fogell a.k.a
McLovin that cops can also be cool).
Bill Hader as Officer Slater

Kevin Corrigan as Mark (He acts as a bully when Seth crashed party)

Joe Lo Truglio as Francis (He hits Seth with his vehicle and in order to avoid getting the
cops involved offers to do whatever Seth wants).

Martha MacIsaac as Becca (She plays the role of the girl who Evan likes and we see the
journey she goes through).

Emma Stone as Jules (Plays the role of the girl liked by Seth and the organiser of the
party that sends the main characters on an escapade for alcohol).

Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Fogell (McLovin) (He after being involved in a mugging at

a liquor store, ends up riding along with Officer Slater and Officer Michaels as they
respond to the various emergencies.

Teenagers are the social groups that

are introduced in the films opening
sequence and, stereotypes are used in
the introduction of these groups.
Although this changes during the
course of the movie.
The main adults these youth
characters interact with are the
unorthodox officers, this interaction is
not the typical to most teen films.

Camera: A lot of Mid Shots and groups are used.

Editing: The pace of the movie is normal with no special effects.
Seth, Evan and Fogell are the characters that get most screen time.
Sound: The soundtrack of the movie belongs to the funk genre

Mise-en-scene: The lighting of the movie was generally relatively

dim as, most scene were shot in the night, at pubs and in
indoors(houses). The key props were alcohol, a fake ID and vehicles.

I really like the comedy aspect of the

movie although it is not the best
example of a teen film as, the relation
between the officers and the
teenagers was unprofessional
