Love at First Sight

I remember the night we first met
You were at the school dance standing alone
Your eye grew as you saw your date walk towards you
You take a step back as you smelled the alcohol in his breath when he talked
You told he shouldn't be drinking at a school
He told you you to watch your mouth and that he could replace you
You ran outside in tears not looking where you were going
I was walking down the hall and we collided.
It was like time froze and we were the only two people on earth
How have I have not noticed you before
It seemed like nothing else in the world mattered
Your eyes were like a maze and I was lost
We sat against the lockers and you told me what happened
I told you that you deserve better than a guy that would treated such a beautiful girl like that
I realized what I said and started to feel embarrassed
I turned towards you about to apologize but you kissed me
I was surprised at first but then I closed my eyes and just embraced you
It was like time froze and nothing else mattered.
