Cordn Detonante/Detonating cord

Es un cordn explosivo resistente y flexible,

que contiene un ncleo de alto explosivo
(pentrita) que est cubierta con un papel de
caractersticas especiales, fibras sintticas e
hilos de algodn y un recubrimiento final de
plstico.
Se activa generalmente por medio de un
fulminante comn, elctrico o no-elctrico. El
ncleo de explosivo detonar a una velocidad
de 7 000 m/s aproximadamente, creando una
onda de choque que permitir activar
explosivos sensibles a detonador. Es
manipulado con gran facilidad y seguridad.
Este accesorio para voladura tiene mltiples
aplicaciones en minera, canteras, movimientos de tierra y diferentes trabajos de
ingeniera civil. Funciona adecuadamente en
todo tipo de voladuras, independiente del
dimetro y longitud del taladro.
