Chanute Historical Museum — December 9, 2014 — 2:00 PM - ‘Chanute Public Library. Beverly Olson, Vice-President called the meeting to order. * The minutes of the last meeting were read by Jackie. Andy moved and Sharon W. seconded the ‘motion, to accept the minutes. Motion carried. ‘+ The Treasurer's report was given by Joyce. Andy moved and Craig seconded the motion, the report be accepted. Motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: * Jim reported 2 dozen of our new mugs - Katy Depot, the Austin Bridge, The Memorial Building and ‘Cross School have been sold at the Library. © Craig moved and Sharon W. seconded the motion for Jim to purchase 10-12 dozen cup boxes from the U-Line catalog. Motion carried. * Ravin Printing has donated 500 gold with block lettering labels to go on our cups, books, ete. (Historical Museum). Thanks to Ravin Printing. * Will add a colored insert to the newsletter in January for renewal of memberships. Andy will donate the colored paper. Sharon C. and Andy will help jim to put this together. NEW BUSINESS: * The month of March is our donation for coffee time at the Library ($33.00) * 100 Computers have been given to Andy to pass to other organizations that are in need. Craig moved and Sharon W. seconded the motion that Andy be empowered to accept the donated computers and allow him to dispose of them as he sees fit. Motion carried. Craig asked is anyone had some information on a Spanish family here in the 1920's. Discussion. Bev moved and Sharon W. seconded the motion to accept the new slate of officers for 2015. Motion carried. Motion carried. ‘* After some discussion — Sharon C. moved and Craig seconded the motion to add four new names ‘on the bank account. President, Vice, Secretary, and Treasurer authorized to write checks and deposits when the treasurer is not available:“Motion carried. Joyce moved and Sharon W. moved the Post Office keys pass to the new officers.
