Parallel Lines
They never intersect. They have the same slop, equidistant, and they are cut by
a transversal which makes the angles supplementary. I used farming and
swimming Olympics to describe parallel lines because it was side by side and
they were equal to each other.

Perpendicular Lines
Perpendicular lines intersect, they have four right angles, and have opposite
reciprocal slopes. I used a highway intersecting and a window to describe
perpendicular lines because they intersect to form right angles
