Ferry to/from Grmsey - 3hrs sailing

From Dalvk (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 09.00 (arriving Grmsey at
12.00 & from Grmsey at 16.00 (arriving Dalvk at 19.00)

Note! Strt tickets are not valid on this route! No bus on Saturdays. When Dalvk is not in the schedule the bus waits at rskgssandur (by the
harbour for Hrsey) before it returns to Akureyri.

Buy Tickets

It is recommended to register and buy tickets for the ferry for Grmsey in advance before leaving Akureyri. They
can be bought at the Official Tourist Information in Hof (opens 7.30 in the morning (1.st June ! 20.th September) &
also Strto-bus tickets. Bus tickets can be bought on-board the bus.

Bus-stops and driving directions.

Bus stops: Akureyri at Hof Cultural house. Ferry-bus: by the harbour in Dalvk & rskgssandur.
Strt-bus: by the main road 15-20 min. walk (2.1 km) from the harbour for ferry to Hrsey & in Dalvk by the
gasoline station N1 (5 min walk from the harbour). Arrows in the tables indicate driving directions.

In the busses the following service is provided: Free internet-access, luggage storage, electricity and toilets.
It is not possible to pre-book seats or space for luggage. The schedule is subject to change e.g. due to weather.
