After successful Photoshop sessions, X-OPS, the Operations club of XIMB, is back with yet another
insightful session as part of its Xcellence Series. Case Analysis and Development session is aimed to
equip the students with the skill to rightly approach a case study and understand how to write a report.
You will also learn how to synthesize various inputs and write a report. It also helps students to
understand how a case study, from a real organisational issue, is developed. This session helps to
develop skills that are needed in our academics as well as in our role as managers in future.
Session Outline;
1. Case Analysis: By Prof. SS. Ganesh
Case simulation
Analyzing different approaches and solutions to the case.
Case synthesis and report writing.
Duration: 2 hrs
2. Case Development: By (not yet decided)
Understanding different approaches and inputs that goes into a case development.
Analyzing a real organisational issue.
Developing a case study.
Duration: 1 hr
Total Duration of the session: 3 hrs 15 min (with a 15 min break in between)
