The Narrator in Robert Frosts poem Mending Walls, illustrates people
unwillingness to accept change. The narrator wishes that his neighbor
would take down the wall that separates them, as there is nothing to be contained and there are no cows. With nothing to hold back the narrator sees no purpose in keeping the walls there but his neighbor is reluctant and sees the wall as an important measure that keeps the two as good neighbors.
