homebase and writing center written on the back. Using A
Visit to Arizona on pg. 280-283 in small book. You will need to
write at least 3 sentences for each flap.

Flap 3: Experiencing different cultures
Flap 4: Conclusions

are?
2. Why are Aminatas feeling important for the theme of
the story?
3. Using the information you come up with write a
paragraph analysis of the theme of the story using text
evidence to support your statements.

make people from other places feel welcome
1. Question: How can you make people from other places feel
welcome?
2. Brainstorm: Come up with three different options for the
answer to the question above that people taking the poll
can choose from.
3. As you poll the students in your class create a tally sheet to
help you with the graph.
4. Create a bar chart to record your findings.
