A Helping Paw

celebratingits20thadoption!Thecrewcelebratedlastweekendintheir
warehouseturnedhumanesocietybuilding,openingittothepublic(andtheirpets).

Festivitiesincludedcakeandicecreammadespecialfortheanimals,andfungamesfor
theirownersandthemtoparticipatein.Afewmoreanimalsresidingattheshelterwere
broughtintolovinghomesthroughwordoftheparty.

AboutAHelpingPaw

AHelpingPawwasfoundedinthewinterof20132014whenfounderBrittanySpearswas
noticinganunacceptableamountofhomelessanimalsroamingthebusystreetsof
Chicago.Daysafterherunfortunatediscovery,shecameupwithanidea:Brittanywanted
tocreateanadoptionagency,doublingasahumanesocietyforabandonedanimals.WIth
generousdonationssentfromallaroundIllinois,AHelpingPawgotitsstart.Sincethen,A
HelpingPawhashousedover30animals,20ofwhomhavebeenadopted.

Brittany,andeveryonewhovolunteersaroundtheirnewlyrenovatedwarehouse,arevery
proudofwhatalittleideahasbecome.Wewouldnttradethefeelingofbeinglovedbythe
animalswehavehelpedforanythingelse.
