Sunlight

I rouse, the feeling of sunshine warming my body,

The sublime rays radiating through my window
--Intense, bold, and vividly golden.

The light so inviting I cannot resist the urge to follow it,

To bask in the undeniably kind essence.

I watch the animals, with their fleece coats,

Frolicking in the yellow gleams
I soak in the aroma of fresh pure life,
The glee of untouched nature.

I run my fingers over the wildflowers,

Their petals such a dazzling hue,

Unbelievably soft and velveteen,

Their voices reach out from the stigmas.

I open my ears to the tranquil and undisturbed hum of the Earth

So many creatures together in symmetry,

Their souls intertwining in a pleasing parallel.

I allow my soul to depart, to bathe in the euphony,

To escape the metropolis and tangle with the temperate environment.

When it returns it is fully free and purged,

AbbiDagg

It is possessed by the simple whisper of the grass

And the wise voice of the oak trees.
