Dear Mr. Weger,
I am writing to you regarding about an open position in your company, Banfield Pet
Hospital, looking for a qualified Veterinarian. I found the listing online, and also heard from a
friend whom is in the field.
Ive spent the last six years attending college, training to become a certified Veterinarian.
During the time I attended Northwestern Michigan College (NMC), I job shadowed for three
years at Northwoods Veterinary Hospital, and volunteered at the Cherryland Humane Society.
From there I transferred to Michigan State University (MSU) to attend their Veterinary Medicine
program, to become a certified Veterinarian. During my time at MSU I worked as Vet Assistant
at Lansing Vet Urgent Care, from there and the previous jobs and experiences I have gained
many hours of on hands experience from jobs and also during class. I choose your company
because I love the friendly environment from the employees and clients, and because of the
great teamwork and problem solving that goes on. It has always been my dream to work in a
friendly environment with a great team and to help animals live a healthier life. I have also been
a client here for many years and that is one of the reasons why I know about the great
teamwork that happens.
What I like most about the career that I have choose to study in and work in is that I get
to make a life better for each individual animal, whether its just a check up or giving a surgery, it
will give them a chance to be happier. Thats why I feel as if I can be a valuable asset to your
team of working hands and to bring more skills to the table that allow for accuracy. I would like
